The Atomic and Molecular Project involves developing standards for the exchange of Atomic and Molecular Data, implementing standards on both local and external databases and developing tools to access and manipulate those data.
One standardisation work is carried out in collaboration with IVOA for the determination of standards for atomic and molecular lineslists (Linelists). A larger scope project is carried out in collaboration with NIST, IAEA and ORNL in order to define standards for a wide range of processes (XSAMS).
Currently our services involve automatic access to the collisional data of the BASECOL database and to spectroscopic data of the Cologne Database of Molecular Spectroscopy.
The current tools are standalone tools designed to access the services described above.
